Bitcoin bulls looking for any good news might enjoy one of the market’s great contrarian indicators throwing shade on BTC.

“Bitcoin and gold–bad money, being liquidated for SpaceX,” tweeted Jim Cramer earlier on Wednesday.

“Apple and Nvidia –good money–being liquidated,” he continued.

Bitcoin is trading at $61,800, flat over the past 24 hours.

Gold is lower 4.2% to $4,109 per ounce, roughly 20% below its record high in late January.

The Nasdaq continues its June swoon ahead of the SpaceX IPO, down 1.8% Wednesday and now lower by about 7% for the month.

It’s probably unfair to even call these companies bitcoin miners anymore as their businesses are far more dependent on AI data center deals than the price of bitcoin.

In fact, most of the group is sharply higher in recent weeks even as the price of bitcoin has gotten pummeled.

And with the Nasdaq lower by 1.4% Wednesday — led by many of the AI favorites — the likes of Hut 8 (HUT), CleanSpark (CLSK), TeraWulf (WULF), Cipher Mining (CIFR) are all lower by 5%-7%.

Bitcoin is roughly flat over the past 24 hours at $61,900.
