Between Meta’s $95 billion share sale and Anthropic’s possible $100 billion IPO — both announced this morning — that’s about another $200 billion in capital being siphoned up by the AI boom.

Bitcoin has added to its weekend slump, trading down to $79,700.

The eagerly awaited IPO filing for AI giant Anthropic was finally filed minutes ago.

Lead underwriters are Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley.

The company will list on the Nasdaq under the symbol “ANT.” There are no details yet on the amount to be raised or the valuation, though previous reports suggest a raise of as much as $100 billion and a $2 trillion valuation.

In the prospectus, ANT disclosed first-half revenue of $16.3 billion versus $1.2 billion one year earlier.

Its hands mostly still tied by a weak common stock price, and a preferred stock trading below par, Strategy MSTR$138.39 added no bitcoin last week.

The company did continue to buy back its preferred stock, STRC, an additional $204.9 million, bringing total repurchases to more than $1.8 billion.

Prior to the buybacks — which started last summer — Strategy had issued about $8.6 billion in STRC.
