“I’ve never seen an IPO so polarizing,” Jun Bei Liu, co-founder and lead portfolio manager at Ten Cap Investment, told Bloomberg.

“There was a lot of international investor interest, however, when it comes to the crunch, the demand seems like it isn’t there when they were asked to put up the capital that’s required.” Former bitcoin miners turned AI data center names are plunging in U.S.

A modest early decline in bitcoin BTC$81,446.96 on Thursday has accelerated, the price falling to about a one-month low just above $80,000 Bitcoin is down 4% over the past 24 hours, and is now lower by more than 8% since nearly hitting $87,000 just four days ago.

That’s masking far uglier action in the rest of the sector, with ether and XRP lower by about 6% over the past day and solana off 9%.

All are down double-digit percentages over the last week.

The fast selling comes as the one-year anniversary of the October 10, 2025, flash crash nears.
