Ethereum-focused treasury firm Bitmine BMNR is still adding to its crypto stash, buying another 12,535 ETH last week.

The haul is worth about $30.4 million at recent ETH prices, and it was almost identical to the previous week’s purchase.

The firm now holds 6.04 million ETH, leaving it roughly 64,000 tokens short of its goal of owning 5% of Ethereum’s supply.

At that rate, Bitmine could hit its 5% target in about five weeks, assuming Ethereum’s supply stays near current levels.

Chairman Tom Lee said earlier that the company plans to stop accumulating ETH once it reaches that target.

Super League shareholders have approved Metaplanet’s proposed takeover, according to Metaplanet CEO, Simon Gerovich, which paves the way for the companys rebrand to Superplanet (SUPA), a U.S.-listed bitcoin treasury platform.

At closing, Metaplanet will contribute 2,100 BTC out of its 44,000 BTC and $2.5 million for approximately 93.7% ownership, with its shares locked up for five years.Superplanet plans to grow bitcoin per share primarily through non-convertible perpetual preferred stock, expanding Metaplanet’s access to U.S.

Michael Saylor’s Strategy MSTR acquired a modest 267 bitcoin last week, bringing total holdings to 848,517 coins.

The company also bought back another $193 million of its high-yielding preferred stock STRC and boosted the size of that repurchase program to $3 billion from $2 billion.
