Live updates: Bitcoin slides below $76,000 as Clarity Act passage odds fade
Özet: Kripto piyasasında önemli gelişmeler yaşanıyor.
The Fed is about 24 hours from kicking off a rate-hike cycle to combat a 1970s-style oil shock, and the odds of passage for the Clarity Act have sunk to 11% ahead of what’s expected to be (only an initial) vote this afternoon.
The news has combined to send bitcoin (BTC) to $75,750, down 3.5% over the past 24 hours and the lowest price since Aug.
Ether (ETH) is down 3.9% to $2,407, and solana (SOL) is lower by 3% to $98.50.
The Nasdaq is down 0.9% and the S&P 500 off 0.6%.
The odds that the Clarity Act becomes law this year are near single-digits Tuesday morning amid the back-and-forth between the GOP and Democrats.
That, and a slide in crypto prices, are teaming up to hammer those crypto-related stocks that might have stood to benefit most from the legislation.
Coinbase (COIN) is down by 6.7%, Circle (CRCL) is down 8%, Bullish (BLSH) is down 4.6%, and Robinhood is off 3.6%.
Bitcoin is down 2.6% over the past 24 hours at $76,350.
Other majors, ether, solana, and XRP, are lower by similar amounts.
