McDonald said Ripple was “actively freezing affected funds” and coordinating with relevant parties to support the investigation.

The exchange said the total could increase as its teams work with law enforcement, issuers, blockchain intelligence firms and industry partners to trace and freeze additional assets.

Binance said it would publish further figures once verified.
