Live updates: Bitcoin remains locked in range as stocks notch another new record high

Özet: Kripto piyasasında önemli gelişmeler yaşanıyor.

Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, who came to fame through their involvement in the creation of Facebook and later started crypto exchange Gemini, have filed for an exchange-traded fund (ETF) tracking Zcash.

The brothers, through their firm Winklevoss Asset Services, submitted a S-1 registration with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Tuesday.

The ETF would hold the crypto directly and trade on Nasdaq under the ticker WINK, according to the filing.

The fund would be custodied by Gemini, the crypto exchange led by the two brothers.

Wall Street firms could emerge as major winners as crypto technology moves deeper into finance, according to Morgan Stanley.

The bank argues that traditional financial institutions can adopt blockchain technology while retaining much of the economic value because they already control distribution, client relationships, balance sheets and regulated market infrastructure.

Morgan Stanley expects digital assets to become part of the existing financial system rather than replace it.

That shift could accelerate as markets move toward round-the-clock trading.

Morgan Stanley says 24/7 tokenized securities will also need digital cash and collateral that can move outside banking hours, creating a larger role for stablecoins and tokenized funds.

The transition could also reshape competition among blockchains.
